What last years runners have to say

Fantastically well organised and plenty of good meaningful communication before and during the event. I knew what time I needed to be there and where to park if I did not want to be stuck until 11:30, it might seem small but these things I think are important. The fine details really make events like this. Well stocked portaloos and a good number for the amount of runners.

Great medal! Let’s face it, that’s why we do these things right! Oh and a really reasonable cost too! Unlike some! First time doing this run but doubt it will be the last!

Runner

I love these small, local races. There are far too many crowded races these days which do to appeal to me. It’s lovely to see a mix of beginners through to Elite runners all enjoying a well organised race. We will certainly bring more athletes next year.

This was my partner and I’s first 10k event, and it simply could not have been better. Busy enough so it felt like you were apart of something great but not so busy that it was overwhelming. The Marshalls around the course were fantastic, so helpful, smiley and positive. We travelled 30+ miles for this from North Hertfordshire and we will 100% be doing it again. Thank you so much.

1st time 10K runner

We really enjoyed the event and thought that the volunteers were well-organised and helpful. We liked the route and there was very little traffic out on the roads. We liked finishing on the field and appreciated being able to use the clubhouse for the toilets and bar. Thank you!
